I remember my Father's old shaving mug with Colgate shaving soap in it . For as long as I remember he had the same mug , brush and straight razor.. He also had a razor strap that hje used to sharpen his razor on.... And that wasn't the only thing he used that strap for either. when us kids were misbehaving all Dad had to do was look straight at me and then at that razor strap.
It could really sharpen a wayward kids memory/

I understand. My husband left me six months ago, his soap is still in the shower. Sometimes I use it, and remember him.

My late Dad would use Old Spice. I just realized the other day it was one thing I did not do when I took care of him at the end of his life... was to bring it down from his house to mine. I tried to get him a bottle of it many times for Christmas. Odd thing... to remember too after all these years that I didn't think to put it on him... I bought an electric razor so he could still shave... Even when he was still walking around I cut his hair for years.. but the whole after shave lotion slipped my mind. Well he didn't ask for it either. I remembered too late. He passed away (in two days) 8 years ago.

saw a scene on nip/tuck that made me laugh. the blind girl knows the womanizer from the father figure when meeting them. they ask how. she says, well, you're wearing xyz cologne and that's very expensive. you obviously aren't wearing it for yourself, so it has to be the for the girls. and you're wearing old spice. you obviously got them from your kids because otherwise, no one would wear old spice.

I'm not really that way with scents, but I am with pieces of music. Give me a certain song, and it'll remind me of someone, as if you put a video of them on infront of me.

fluff movie... it's an ok sunday rainy day watch. it has john goodman in it, and i really like him and that girl from 2 and a half men/ever after/sweet home alabama and i think she's way talanted with her accents.

Definitely Old Spice.....my dad used it forever, it seems......once in awhile, hubby will buy, and use it; however, his favorite is Avon's Wild Country. Old Spice definitely has memories from years gone by!!
